This policy explains what personal data Aknaz Mortgage Experts collects when you use this website, why we collect it, where it is stored, who can see it and how long we keep it. We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and assess your mortgage eligibility.
Who is responsible for your data?
Aknaz Mortgage Broker Co. L.L.C., trading as Aknaz Mortgage Experts, Tamani Arts Building, Bay Square,Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us about privacy at info@aknaz.ai.
What do we collect?
- Contact details you enter: first and last name, email address, phone number, preferred time to call, and any message you write.
- Pre-qualification figures, if you send them: monthly salary, monthly commitments, credit-card limits, residency status, property price, first or additional home, off-plan or ready, age, and the estimate the calculator produced.
- Consent record: the date and time you ticked the consent box, and which version of the consent wording you saw.
- The page you submitted from, for example the pre-qualification page or the contact page.
- The advisor assigned to you to handle your enquiry.
- Campaign tags: the utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign values in the link that brought you here, if any.
- Technical data: your IP address is used when you submit a form, to block spam and limit repeated submissions. We store only a hashed, non-reversible form of your IP address for 10 minutes. If you send more than one enquiry with the same email address, a hashed, non-reversible form of that address is kept for 24 hours so we can limit how often an existing record is changed.
The calculators work in your browser. Figures you type into them are not sent to us unless you submit the contact step. Calculator share links contain numbers only, never your name or contact details. This website does not accept document uploads.
Why do we use it, and on what basis?
We use your data to contact you about your enquiry, to assess which UAE banks are likely to lend to you, and to keep a record of your consent. The legal basis is your consent, given when you tick the box on the form, under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data [VERIFY]. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Where is it stored and who can see it?
We use these service providers. Each processes your data only to provide its service to us.
- HubSpot (customer relationship management) stores your enquiry. Location: HubSpot's EU data centre in Germany.
- Resend delivers an internal notification email about your enquiry to our advisors. Location: United States [VERIFY] (we are confirming the processing region).
- Cloudflare hosts this website, runs the Turnstile check that tells people from bots, and runs the small counters database (D1) used for spam protection. Location: Cloudflare's global edge network, so a request may be handled in the data centre nearest to you. The counters database holds no names or contact details: only a hashed, non-reversible form of your IP address for 10 minutes (and, as above, of your email address for 24 hours).
A copy of your enquiry is also emailed to our two advisors' business mailboxes. That copy is kept for the same period as the enquiry record below and deleted with it.
Some of these providers store or process data outside the United Arab Emirates. We transfer personal data abroad only as the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) allows for cross-border transfers, relying on your consent and on the provider's contractual safeguards [VERIFY].
Aknaz advisors can see your enquiry. We share your details with a bank only after you ask us to apply on your behalf. We do not sell personal data.
How long do we keep it?
We keep enquiry data for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete it, unless you become a client and the law requires us to keep records for longer [VERIFY].
What are your rights?
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy. Email info@aknaz.ai and we will reply within 30 days [VERIFY].
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies today. Cloudflare Turnstile may use technical storage only while it checks a form submission. If we add analytics later, it will load only after you agree, and this policy will be updated first.
